OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Creative Couture with Sensible Style
Emily and Julia think that interior design should be accessible and affordable. “The thought of hiring a decorator can be intimidating and it shouldn't be. Our main goal is to make the process simple, fun, affordable and highly rewarding”.
They feel strongly that it is absolutely best to repurpose items if possible, find affordable accent pieces to fill in when needed, and blend them together. “Nothing needs to be dressed head to toe in designer wear to have a magazine worthy look”.
Their mission is to turn your home into a haven with a unique, streamlined and updated look. “We prefer to mix contemporary pieces in with traditional pieces to create interest. We use items our clients own first. Then, we edit out what isn't necessary, functional or loved. It's really a process of editing, repurposing, and prioritizing in order to create a simplified space with personal touches. This is how your home becomes your haven.”
In addition, they often commission local artists for custom paintings, wall coverings and fabrics to bring an indigenous element into the space. The result: a clean, fresh and unique space with unparalleled character that is reflective of the homeowner.
Why shouldn’t your work space be as inviting as your home? Let us turn your office or restaurant into a haven too.
Restart or refresh? Whether you want to start over from scratch or breathe new life into your room, we take on projects of all scope and scale.
Sometimes the perfect finishing piece is one you already own -- if it were just re-imagined. We love to bring back favorite pieces and let them shine again!
Haute Haven loves art! And nothing embellishes a home more than original artwork. We have some favorite local artists from whom we commission artwork at all price points.
Choosing colors can be daunting task. If all you need is a new palette, Haute Haven can help you determine the hues to best suit your space from attic to basement.
